Will B. Johnstone - The taxpayer

Over the years, Will B. Johnstone developed the famous character of an impoverished taxpayer wearing a barrel. In this cartoon The Taxpayer has defeated Tammany Hall, the HQ of the N.Y.C. democrats. The end (?) of "Old Man Taxpayer" is shown in Johnstone's suggestion for a patriotic war song
