Now here's a topic worth a few coolness points! Both teams are classics of movie comedy(The Marxes with feature films, the Stooges with shorts) and both are pretty much kept all in the family(The Marx BROTHERS-duh! And Moe, Curly and Shemp were all brothers, as well). Which team was better? I don't really care, but I would like to find out what people think would happen if they were to actually meet! 1. HOW would they meet? Under what circumstances?
The way I see it, is that Chico would bump into the Stooges after they fouled up their latest scheme and, after exchanging introductions(and SERIOUSLY bad puns), he'd send them on to his "boss", namely Groucho. Now, Groucho would get frustrated with their lack of ability to understand ANYTHING in the same way that he gets frustrated with Chico, and would walk away shaking his head and trying regain some of his sanity. Then, Harpo would enter the scene...and here's where the fun would really begin! Standing back for a while and watching them hit themselves, Harpo would soon realize what they're all about, and would gleefully rub his hands and waltz right in there, fully confident that he can match them blow for blow, point and counterpoint; getting a few good shots in and taking some right on the chin, all the while having the time of his life! I know, this needs a bit more work(and some sort of storyline), and I haven't even touched on all the characters, but this sort of thing could easily fly if fleshed out properly! What does anyone else think? What would happen if Groucho, Harpo, Chico and Zeppo met Larry, Moe, Curly and Shemp? I'm fully open to suggestions!
