I have just been surfing the Web for all things Marx and noticed, rather offhandedly that Susan Fleming (Harpo's wife) and Marilyn (Erin) Fleming (Groucho's confidant, etc) had the same last names, they wouldn't have happened to be related by any chance were they?!?! Just curious... Oh, and can ANYBODY tell me how the BIO Pic is coming along?!?!?!?!

If they're related, it's only distantly. (Erin is Canadian, by the way, not that this has anything to do with anything in particular.) Harpo spoke (in Harpo Speaks!) of the importance of Flemings in his life, so the fact that one Fleming in particular became so important in Groucho's late life is particularly weird. As far as the biopic is concerned, as far as I know there is no forward motion at the moment. Let's hope something happens on this before we all die. ------------------ Frank M. The reason for this is that a friend of mine was asking for Halloween costume ideas. I suggested Groucho. He said that if he went to a party as Groucho that either no one would know who he was, or they would assume he was one of the Three Stooges! YIKES!
