The very first Marx Brothers film I saw as a little boy in New York, circa 1959 or 60. It was playing on WOR's "Million Dollar Movie", and ran every afternoon for a week. My sister and I laughed ourselves sick over it, particularly Harpo's ride on the Mobil Oil sign and his getting steamed in Willy the Penguin. The musical numbers were el stinko, but I fail to see why Love Happy gets such a bum rap. I eagerly await your bad news.

It gets a bum rap because it makes no use of Groucho or Chico and rsrely has the sense to put all 3 Marx Brothers in the same scene together

hello I'm new and this is my first post!

I have never seen love happy, it is only 1 of 2 marx films i havent seen.

roger, i think the reason for that is love happy was originally meant to be with harpo only...... but then chico needed the money so he was added, then they wanted groucho in it too so they could sell it as a full marx movie.
